The cryptocurrency wallet company Conio, owned by Poste Italiane and Banca Generali, has announced a partnership with Coinbase, the largest cryptocurrency exchange in the United States, to provide digital asset services to Italian banks and financial institutions. This partnership aims to offer more digital assets to the Italian banking and financial sectors.

The wallet company Conio, with over 400,000 customers, has announced its intention to expand wallet support to include 50 tokens by the end of 2023.
Conio CEO Orlando Merone stated in his announcement:
Conio has produced the first multi-signature Bitcoin wallet for smartphones in Italy, and now we are expanding our storage capabilities because Italian banks are showing much more demand for digital assets. We are integrating EVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine) chains into our systems, and our goal is to cover approximately 60% of the digital asset market by the next year,” expressed Conio CEO Orlando Merone. He also appreciated the efforts of the Bank of Italy in the field of digital assets.
