Crypto Whale Acquires $187 Million Worth of Cryptocurrency
A crypto whale purchased $187 million worth of Bitcoin and various altcoins on the Binance exchange in just three days.
According to data from Lookonchain, the whale executed numerous purchases, primarily involving BTC, Ethereum, and BNB.
“It seems that the whale accumulated approximately $187 million in assets on Binance in the last three days.”
The whale purchased 2,380 BTC worth $90.64 million, 172,000 BNB worth $39.19 million, 16,300 Ethereum worth $33.61 million, 200,000 SOL worth $12.2 million, 530 billion SHIB worth $4.4 million, 460 million IOST worth $4.2 million, 1.6 million MATIC worth $1.22 million, and 16 million CHZ worth $1.16 million.
Lookonchain stated that the same whale opened new wallets in June and withdrew a significant amount of cryptocurrency from Binance during that period.
“All three wallets were created on June 8th, and assets were withdrawn simultaneously from Binance. It is likely the same whale.”
Lookonchain also mentioned that a significant amount of USDT has been recently minted and transferred to exchanges.
